China Gold International Resources (02099.HK) has announced an update on its exploration progress for 2011 at its CSH gold mine in Inner Mongolia, China.
The planned 108 hole - 59,135.4 meter drill campaign was completed in early November 2011 on schedule, which is aimed to define more resource down depth below the current open pit. All of the assay results were received in late November 2011.
Highlights of the 2011 drill program from the recently received assay results include intercepts of 340.36 meters (true width 248.09 meters)grading 0.78 grams per tonne (g/t) gold in hole DDH9900-2 and 221.88 meters (true width 190.99 meters) grading 0.92 grams per tonne (g/t) gold in hole DDH9800-3.
