CHINA Knowledge reported that China Shenhua Energy Co.,Ltd. produced 24 million tonnes of commercial coal in November reflecting a YoY increase by 21.8%.
Last month, the coal company sold 31.6 million tonnes of coal, 13.7% more than that in the same period of 2010. Of the total sales, 200,000 tonnes were exported down by 71.4%YoY.
In addition to this, China Shenhua Energy said its electricity output surged 38.2% YoY to 14.59 terawatt hours in November and its electricity sales jumped 37.6%YoY to 13.57 TWhs.
Mr Zhao Jianguo a senior official with China Coal Transportation and Marketing Association said last month that China's coal output is expected to exceed 3.5 billion tonnes this year.
He said that in the first ten months, the country's coal output rose 11.2%YoY to more than 2.9 billion tonnes.
