Intime was awarded with “2011 China’s Best Corporate Citizen” on China’s Corporate Citizenship Forum 2011, which was organized by 21st Century Business Herald and 21st Century Business Review last week. Intime’s chief executive officer Chen Xiaodong said in a speech on the forum that it was recommendable for a retailer to maintain a good relationship with suppliers and to build a highly relevant connection with its employees in ways other than reward and punishment mechanism, especially in today’s retail industry where the relationship between supplier and retailer is growing intense and conflicts between retailers and employees are more prominent.
