Three IC distributors see decreased December revenues

WPG Holdings, WT Microelectronics and Zenitron, three Taiwan-based distributors of ICs and electronic components, saw consolidated revenues for December 2011 drop by 4%, 6.5% and 17% respectively on month, according to the companies.

The three companies have tapped the China market for years and expect 2012 business to increase significantly due to fast growing demand for 3G handsets and smartphones there. Currently, WPG and Zenitron have 78% and about 30%, respectively, of their consolidated revenues from the China market.
