As Kodak is facing bankruptcy crisis, rumors about the company filing lawsuits against Apple, High Tech Computer (HTC) and Fujifilm as a last resort to help its financial situation, Kodak's Taiwan-based ODM partners are striving to shorten their payment period and are even considering to only transact with Kodak with cash, according to sources from upstream ODMs.

The sources pointed out that they are closely monitoring Kodak's status and in addition to shortening the payment period, they are also trying to land orders from other brand vendors to lessen the risk of accumulating too many orders in one player.
