A8 Digital Music Holdings (HKG:0800) has agreed to terminate the acquisition of 8.14% equity interests in Guangzhou Kugou, Guangzhou Silang and KuGou by Kuaitonglian, an indirectly controlled subsidiary of A8 Digital.

More, Liu Xiaosong, the executive director and a substantial shareholder of the company, has also terminated the acquisition of 12.86% equity interest in Guangzhou Kugou, Guangzhou Silang and KuGou.

The directors of A8 Digital are of the view that the termination does not have any material adverse impact on the financial position and business operation of the group.
