PETALING JAYA: The Happy Dragon will continue to bring smiles for the whole of this year, as MYAstro plans to feature the mascot in educational programmes throughout the Year of the Dragon.
“It is still in the pipeline, but we are planning to feature the Happy Dragon in some of our programmes this year,” said Astro's Chinese Customer Business vice-president Choo Chi Han.
The Happy Dragon and a team from Astro has just returned from visiting all 14 states in the country, where they shot a 15-minute Chinese New Year music video featuring “smiles from members of the community”.

The mascot joined Choo as well as a team of Astro talents and representatives at The Star's headquarters here yesterday to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Staff members from Star Publications (M) Bhd were also invited to participate in a dance and received limited edition Happy Dragon plush toys, DVDs of Astro's Chinese New Year music video and ang pow packets.
“I hope The Star will have a great year,” said Astro's chief innovation officer Brian Lenz.
Lenz, who recently moved from London, said this was his first time celebrating Chinese New Year.
