February 15 -- China Railway Construction Corporation (601186,1186.HK) said a subsidiary, China Civil Engineering Construction, won two contracts worth a total of $1.45 billion, or approximately 9.1 billion yuan, accounting for about 1.94 percent of 2010 revenue, reports China Securities Journal, citing a company filing.
The first contract worth $941 million is for the building of a road with a length of 14.8 kilometers in Nigeria. The construction period is three years.
The second deal is a $505 million EPC contract to build a railway in Djibouti over a period of 60 months.
