Apple CEO Tim Cook visited the headquarters of China Unicom this morning, and is scheduled to visit China Telecom's headquarters on March 29. Chairman of China Telecom Wang Xiaochu will meet with Cook and have a talk about apple's investment in China, informed sources said.
Carolyn Wu, China spokeswoman said earlier, "China is very important to us and we look forward to even greater investment and growth there" .
Yesterday, Cook was photographed smiling by eager fans at the Apple store in Beijing Xidan, who posted some of the images on social networking sites.
China now is Apple's second-biggest market overall, so Cook's top priority of this trip is to talk with executives of China Unicom and China Telecom.
