An industry source revealed today that "Shuibei Online," a jewelry e-commerce website invested in by Shenzhen-based internet company Tencent (0700.HK) and vertical B2C diamond retailer Kela, is now recruiting employees ahead of an official launch.

"Shuibei" will reportedly be a jewelry-focused vertical B2C platform similar to Shenzhen-based 3C e-commerce firm 360HQB.com. According to the source, the new company is currently hiring technical R&D and management staff for positions in Shenzhen.

Tencent and Kela have not yet responded to the rumor.
