September 1 -- Vinda International Holdings (03331.HK) set a target to expand production capacity, reports caihuanet.com.

The firm raised product prices by 10 percent in the first half of this year. However, the rising price of wood pulp caused the company’s gross margin in the first half to fall. Vinda’s market share did not change during that period.

A company insider said Vinda will hold a product order meeting this month. More than 200 distributors will participate in the meeting, and over 50 million products are expected to be sold.

Company CFO Zeng Sihao predicts total capital expenditure will reach 650 million yuan for the 2011 year.

The company’s aim is to increase production capacity by 100,000 tons per year. Total production capacity by the end of this year will reach 470,000.

Vinda manufactures household consumable paper including toilet paper, facial tissue, and paper napkins.
