* Top-Rated Company BEIJING, Sep 02, 2011 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- The search engine giant Baidu.com, Inc. (Baidu) (BIDU.NSDQ) announced on September 2 to launch a mobile operating system named Baidu Easy.

The system integrates Baidu's cloud service; the earnings gained from value-added service generated by the system will be shared with hardware manufacturers.

It is introduced that this operating system will be embedded with such applications as Baidu search box, cloud service, map, shenbian.baidu.com, Baidu Mobile, input methods, etc, seeking for customer-made and built-in cooperation with mobile terminal manufacturers.

Although the company did not confirm officially, Baidu Easy is likely to be a kind of Android-based operating system judging from the picture on the official website. Currently, the products alike on the market include MIUI by Beijing Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd., Ali Cloud by Alibaba Group and Tapas OS by Innovation Works, etc.
