China Mobile (NYSE: CHL, 941.HK) parent China Mobile Communications Corp is interested in conducting more Asia-based mergers and acquisitions, but does not have any interest in European ventures, reports Oriental Morning Post quoting company CEO Wang Jianzhou on March 5. Wang said the company plans to invest US$800 million in its wholly-owned Pakistani operator CMPak Ltd. this year. China Mobile Communications invested the same amount in the operator last year.
