On today's "2011 China Cloud Computing And Cloud Services Summit", vice director of Software Services Division, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Xie Duying said on the meeting that China's cloud computing industry had shown a good development situation in recent years, governments at all levels also had been building cloud computing centers around the country. However, China's cloud computing is still in its infancy, and the next step government should do is to put more emphasis on developing planning standards.

Xie Duying also added: "We should pay more attention on core technology and safety standards of cloud computing and to strengthen the guidance of application and requirements, and continuously improve the laws and regulations."
