August 1 -- China Mobile (0941.HK) is reducing international roaming fees by an average of 38.6 percent in 38 countries and regions with effect from today, reports Beijing Times.

Roaming fees for local calls made within Singapore were cut from 0.99 yuan per minute to 0.59 yuan per minute, while charges for calls made from Singapore to mainland China were slashed from 3.99 yuan per minute to 0.99 yuan per minute.

Roaming charges for local calls made within France, the U.K. and Italy were reduced to 0.69 yuan per minute, while charges for calls made from the above three countries to mainland China were cut to 1.99-2.99 yuan per minute.
