August 16 – Tianjin Faw Xiali Automobile (000927) produced a total of 13,800 automobiles in July, down 4.81 percent, reports p5w.net, citing a company filing. Sales of automobile in that month grew 8.27 percent to 12,100 units.

For the first seven months, output of automobiles hit 160,900 units, an increase of 14.98 percent while sales increased 12.13 percent to 152,700 units.

The percentage changes cited are all year-on-year.
