July 19 -- Beijing SJ Environmental Protection and New Material (300072) posted a 40.39 percent year-on-year increase in first half 2011 preliminary net profit to 30.66 million yuan, with basic earnings per share of 0.16 yuan, reports stcn.com, citing a company filing.

Sales revenue rose 15.82 percent year-on-year to 205 million yuan.

The company said it benefited from a significant increase in the sales of its desulfurization equipment and higher revenue from the provision of technical services.
