Tianjin Printronics Circuit Corporation (Printronics) (002134.SZ) reported that its net profit rose to 1.59 million yuan in the first half of 2011, with earnings per share of 0.01 yuan, reports p5w.net, citing a company filing. Revenue fell 1.81 percent year-on-year to 255 million yuan during the reporting period.
Printronics said its orders fell year-on-year in the first half of 2011 due to a change in product structure. It improved administration and optimized resource allocation during the reporting period, in order to cut its operating cost and response the rising production cost.
The company predicts it will earn less than five million yuan in the first three quarters this year. It incurred a loss of 5.72 million yuan in the same period last year.
