China Telecommunications Corp. is in talks to lease network capacity from U.K carriers for selling mobile services there, Bloomberg News reported on its website, citing unnamed sources.
China Telecom has approached Everything Everywhere, a venture between Deutsche Telekom AG (DTE.XE) and France Telecom SA (FTE.FR), and Vodafone Group PLC (VOD), the Sept. 3 report said. The aim is get services up ahead of the 2012 London Olympics, it added.
