In H1 2011, Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel produced 4.98 million tons crude steel and 4.8 million tons steels, wherein output of stainless steel increased by 10.11% YoY to 1.46 million tons. The newly added capacity does not completed release, and is expected to achieve full production by 2012.

Currently, its capacity of crude steel and steels reaches 10.5 million tons and 9.87 million tons respectively. As the largest manufacture of stainless steel in domestic China, Taigang Stainless Steel has stainless steel capacity of 3 million tons approximately, wherein capacity of cold-rolling stainless steel, stainless section steel, stainless steel wire and stainless steel medium plate is 2 million tons, 0.4 million tons, 0.1 million tons and 0.12 million tons respectively.
