XINING Special Steel (600117.SH) No 3 blast-furnace, undertaken by China First Metallurgical Group Co.,Ltd. was put into operation.

The company project of overhaul on blast furnace and upgrade modification works of environment friendly technology is a significant move to promote their own reform and innovation, product mix adjustment, quality improvement, energy conservation and emission reduction.

This project has been taken seriously by governments at all levels of Xining city, Qinghai province. Only costing 9 months, the company finished construction of No.3 blast furnace as well as concerned equipment.

Mr Ai Qingsheng Vice General Manager of China First Metallurgical Group Co Ltd, Mr Yang Zhonghe General Manager of Xining Special Steel Co Ltd and Mr Wang Dinghong, President of BERIS Engineering and Research Corporation, attended the operation ceremony of the blast furnace.
