China Mobile (HKG:0941) announced that it had a net addition of 2.307 million 3G customers in April (a reduction compared to 2.975 million in March) which increased its 3G customers to 61.87 million as at the end of April.

The company had a net addition of 5.281 million customers in April, after a higher net addition of 5.798 million in March.

China Unicom (SHA:600050, HKG:0762) had a net addition of 2.918 million 3G subscribers for April, down from 2.966 million for March.
