ZTE Corp, China's second-biggest maker of telephone equipment, said yesterday that it won a contract to build a network in Portugal for AR Telecom, a unit of Grupo SGC.

The network will provide services for cities, including Lisbon and Porto, Shenzhen-based ZTE said, without giving financial details. AR Telecom provides fixed-line telephone, Internet and Internet-based TV services in Portugal.
