ZTE, China's second-largest telecom equipment maker, says it has inked a supply deal with Telekom Malaysia as it continues a drive into more developed overseas markets.

Under the agreement, the company will provide 70 percent of a purchase order for power products, including telecom equipment like mixed-base station power systems and embedded power systems. In March, ZTE scored its first infrastructure equipment deal in Britain.
