BandRich, a network-equipment subsidiary of High Tech Computer (HTC), is currently showcasing its 3.5G data cards and 3.5G USB dongles as well as a new product line, 3G/Wi-Fi routers, at the GSMA Mobile Asia Congress, which is being held in Macau from November 12-15, according to company sources.

However, most Taiwan-based handset makers and telecom operators as well as leading handset vendors, including Nokia, Motorola and Samsung Electronics, have chosen to not attend the event hosted by the GSM Association, according to data from the organizers.

The GSMA Mobile Asia Congress is an annul event that succeeds the 3GSM World Congress Asia, an Asia-version of the 3GSM World Congress, that was previously held in Singapore.
