Taiwan-based connector maker Foxlink, who recently cut into the handset OEM market, has reportedly received handset orders from the China's largest telecom vendor China Mobile. The orders are expected to provide a large boost the company's handset shipments in 2008, according to market sources.
The company also recently received entry-level handset OEM orders from China-based Huawei with monthly shipments of one million units.
The orders from China Mobile are expected to start mass shipments in the first quarter of 2008.
A spokesperson of Foxlink declined to comment on the orders saying the company does not reveal information regarding orders and its clients.
