Datang Telecom and Ericsson have established the Datang-Ericsson LTE Joint Research Center for Long Term Evolution/Time Division Duplex technology, according to ChinaTechNews.com.

Zhen Caiji, president and CEO of Datang Telecom, said the company would build a closer strategic partnership with Ericsson to push forward the R&D of LTE and IMT-Advanced technology; promote the industrialization and marketing of TD-SCDMA, and break China's TD-SCDMA industry into the international market.
