Yantai Dongcheng Biochemicals Co.,Ltd. is principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sale of drugs. The Company priamirly provides heparin sodium active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), which are used in the manufacture of unfractionated heparin preparations and low molecular weight heparin APIs, as well as chondroitin sulfate, which are divided into three levels, including pharmaceutical grade, high-profile food grade and ordinary food grade. The Company also produces cytochrome C raw materials, menotropins vials and chorionic gonadotrophin for injection, among others. During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2011, the Company generated 86.53% of its revenue from heparin sodium API. The Company distributes its products mainly to overseas markets.
