July 18 -- Guangzhou Zhujiang Brewery (002461) reported a 9.42 percent year-on-year increase in first half 2011 preliminary net profit to 59.27 million yuan, reports 163.com, citing a company filing.
Sales revenue in the same period rose 5.68 percent year-on-year to 1.454 billion yuan.
The brewer attributed the increase in sales revenue to improved distribution and enhanced product structure.
Meanwhile, the company posted a 78.26 percent decrease in asset impairment losses by strengthening the management of its accounts receivable.
