China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) (601668.SH) recorded a 79.2 percent year-on-year rise in transaction value in the first seven months of 2011 to 56.6 billion yuan, reports China Securities Journal, citing a company filing.
Transaction area rose 36.4 percent year-on-year to 4.24 million square meters.
CSCRC had land reserves of 64.96 million square meters as of end July, of which 16.05 million square meters were newly acquired.
For its construction business, the value of newly-signed contracts in the first seven months rose 51.1 percent year-on-year to 482.1 billion yuan.
Construction area rose 37.9 percent year-on-year to 418.98 million square meters, while new construction area hit 110.23 million square meters, up 26.7 percent.
