August 11 -- Shanxi Sanwei Group (000755), a producer of organic chemicals, generated net profit of 35.29 million yuan in the first half of 2011, with earnings per share of 0.075 yuan, reports stcn.com, citing a company filing.

Sales revenue rose 105.19 percent year-on-year to 2.26 billion yuan.

The company had incurred a loss of 35.32 million yuan in the same period a year ago.

Sanwei Group attributed the increased revenue to higher product prices and the increase in the number of products.
