Tech world behemoth Apple is shortly opening an exclusive store in Hong Kong and a mega store in Shanghai to tap growing demand of its products in China
With the increased demand of Apple products in Asia, the Cupertino tech behemoth is increasing its reach in the region especially in and around China. After US and Europe China is emerging the third largest market of Apple.
So this is no surprise that Apple has decided to directly get involved in Hong Kong and China. It is opening a huge store in Hong Kong later this year. In rest of China, it already has four exclusive company stores and expansion is on the cards in the mainland too.
An Apple spokesperson has told the media that during the next quarter, the Hong Kong store will be operational in top end IFC mall.
Apple sales have been rising in China in recent years and with the launch of iPad, the earnings from China have gone up several times, prompting the company to invest in increasing and expanding its infrastructure there.
To be true most of the components and parts are manufactured and assembled in China that Apple dutifully calls “Made in China” on the back of every iPhone.
