Taiwan-based FCCL (flexible copper-clad laminate) maker Asia Electronic Material expects its revenues to grow 27% to reach NT$1.7 billion (US$57.7 million) in 2011, making it one of the world's top-3 FCCL makers, according to the company.
For the first half of 2011, the company posted revenues of NT$747 million, net profits of NT$71.6 million and an EPS of NT$1.11.
The company's plant in Kunshan, China currently has a monthly capacity of 800,000 square meters of FCCLs, including 3-layer (3L) FCCLS, 2L FCCLs and coverlays. The company also produces polyimide (PI) films in-house for the production of FCCLs.
The company plans to expand the capacity of its Kunshan plant to 1.8 million square meters by the end of 2012, said the FCCL maker.
