The average price of polysilicon, the raw material for solar modules, fell 1.3 percent to $49.38 a kilogram from the previous week on lower demand, according to EnergyTrend.
Solar modules have declined 1.3 percent to $1.12 a watt since last week, EnergyTrend said today in an e-mailed statement. Solar cells slipped 1.1 percent to 72 U.S. cents a watt, while the average wafer price was unchanged.
