Handset keypad maker Silitech Technology saw its net profits double to NT$470 million (US$15.6 million) in the third quarter from the previous quarter. The third-quarter earnings translated into an EPS of NT$2.60 for the three-month period, according to company data.

For the first three quarters of 2011, consolidated revenues were down 5% on year to NT$9.52 billion, gross margin slid 1.26pp to 21.79%, and net profits slipped 14% to NT$968 million. EPS for the January-September period stood at NT$5.38.
