SOMERSWORTH — The Great China Sweepstakes drawing is this Friday, November 4. The Somersworth Chamber of Commerce has only sold 100 sweeps tickets so far. So your chances are really good to win that top prize of $5,000 cash or a trip for two to China with $500 cash.

The lucky top winner can choose either the cash or the trip. The second place winner gets $500 and $100 goes to the third place winner. Sweeps tickets cost $50.00 each, and one ticket admits two into the Drawing Party on November 4 featuring a reverse raffle countdown to the top sweeps winner. The party includes Chinese snacks, live music with Family Affair, consolation raffles, a silent auction and a cash bar. The Drawing Party is 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #69 at 45 Washington Street in Somersworth. Tickets can be charged over the phone with a credit card until noon on Friday, November 4th.
