Due to urgent orders, Taiwan-based LED firm Edison Opto anticipates November revenues to demonstrate 10-20% of on-month growth. Despite low demand in the LED industry, Edison Opto indicated plans to recruit more workers and expand the Lighting Design Manufacturing Service (LDMS) lighting solution business.
According to Edison Opto, October revenues were NT$184 million (US$6.04 million), November revenues are likely to reach NT$200-220 million. The growth is likely to continue throughout December as well.
Edison Opto also indicated a plan to provide bonuses to employees in November as encouragement. The firm also has plans to increase its recruitment. Edison Opto has been focusing on high-power LED lighting products since 2011. The sales of LED lighting products have been accounting for 85% of total revenues. The firm expects the figure to increase over 90% in 2012.
