Liu Yunshu has resigned as an executive director and deputy general manager of China Merchants Holdings (International) (HKG:0144) with effect from 10 February 2012 due to his appointment as an Overseas Operation Officer of the company and as the CEO of Colombo International Container Terminals Limited, a 85%-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Holdings (International).

Liu has confirmed that he has no disagreement with China Merchants Holdings (International)'s board and there is no matter in relation to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company.

At the same time, Zheng Shaoping was appointed as an executive director of China Merchants Holdings (International).
