During the “11th Five-year Plan”, the machinery industry in China develops rapidly. In 2010, the industrial added value accounts for 9% of the GDP, and the gross industrial output value increases from RMB 4,000 billion in 2005 to RMB 14,000 billion in 2010, with an average annual growth of over 25%. The enterprises above designated size have reached more than 100,000, which increases about 50,000 since the “10th five-year plan”. And the gross assets have reached RMB 10,400 billion, which grows by 100%.
In 2009, the sales amount of machinery industry reached USD 15,000 billion and ranked first in the world. China has become the largest country of machinery manufacturing in the world.
