Bank of Communications (SHA:601328, HKG:3328) announces that due to re-assignment of work, Wang Bin has resigned from his positions as an executive director and vice president of the bank and a member of the strategy committee of the board, with effect from 23 March 2012.

Wang confirmed that he had no disagreement with the board and there were no matters relating to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders and creditors of the bank.
