Marketing Manager of Shanghai GM Buick talked about company’s development plan in an interview. He said that one of company’s key development fields would be SUV. Buick would take advantage of technologies introduced from North America and Opel to enrich three production lines, namely sedan, sports car and SUV. Target group of new SUV is exiting Buick car owners; that is to say, large amount of SUVs will be sold through replacement mode.
