In recent days, news from Dayi County of Sichuan said Shenzhen BAK Battery Co., Ltd., Sichuan Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Hejia Industry Group Co., Ltd. signed cooperation investment agreement with the County, proposing to invest RMB3 billion to construct new energy bus and key component industry base project in Sichuan Dayi Economic Development Zone.

The project is completed in two phases in three years as scheduled. Phase 1 constructs annual output 5,000 units of bus and component base and Phase 2 will be finished in the third year. After the project goes into production, it is predicted that bus and component revenue will respectively amount to RMB11.2 billion and RMB20 billion realizing tax over RMB1 billion, and more than 3,000 jobs will be increased.
