Founded in April 2007, Beijing Carsmart Technology Co., Ltd. is the IoT solution and service provider engaged in Carsmart resource management platform and vehicle tracking equipment (Tracker terminal), telematics smart terminal (iPND terminal) and vehicle diagnostic terminals (iOBD terminal). 

From 2010, the major clients of in-vehicle information terminal business included Guangzhou Honda and Dongfeng Honda, and accounted for 75.4% of the total revenue. The terminal sales slipped down in 2011-2012.

In 2013, the company was acquired by United Electronics Co., Ltd. (002642) as its subsidiary. Then Carsmart positively explored Telematics AM market, now it already owns such mobile connected softwares such as Lecheng, Yangchebao, Chediantong, and hardware products including Lesheng box and Guanjia box, etc.

In 2014H1, it realized revenue, operating profit and net income of RMB59.83 million, RMB26.51 million and RMB25.13 million, respectively.
