A national subsidy for lithium EV batteries is in the works, according to a dlev.com report.
On November 13, the China International Lithium Technology Summit began in Chengdu, Sichuan. At the conference were 400 different companies and 700 industry representatives. At the summit, EV experts from the State 863 Program revealed that the central government is planning a subsidy to boost the lithium battery market.
According to a Sina Finance report, the government is also planning a new subsidy for EV charging equipment. This subsidy will reportedly be implemented according to each location’s EV ownership rates.
