Templeton Asset Management Ltd increased his long position in the H shares of China Merchants Bank (SHA:600036, HKG:3968) from 8.92% to 9.03% by acquiring 4.302 million H shares on exchange at HK$17.956 per share on average on February 3, the Stock Exchange's Disclosure of Interests information shows.

The shares were traded on the exchange for HK$77.238 million.
