Guangdong Goworld (000823), a maker of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, posted a 12.57 percent year-on-year rise in 2011 net profit attributable to shareholders to 182 million yuan, while revenue increased 10.38 percent to 3.293 billion yuan, reports Shanghai Securities News, citing a company filing today.
For the first quarter, net profit attributable to shareholders rose 72.19 percent year-on-year to 67.04 million yuan, while revenue increased 26.44 percent to 934 million yuan.
The company forecasts a 50-80 percent year-on-year rise in 2012 first half net profit to 119-143 million yuan due to higher demand for capacitive screens and high-end HDI boards, and the increase in gross margins.
Separately, consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense Electric (600060) recorded a 20.5 percent year-on-year rise in 2012 first quarter net profit to 317 million yuan on revenue of 5.057 billion yuan.
