CHINA Eastern Airlines yesterday said it carried 5.06 million passengers in November, up 40 percent from same period a year earlier.
The number of passengers flying on domestic routes jumped 39 percent to 4.34 million, the nation's second-largest carrier said. About 124,900 tons of cargo were carried last month, up 31 percent.
In the first 11 months of this year, passenger volume soared 47 percent to 59.74 million and cargo volume surged 57 percent to 1.33 million tons, the Shanghai-based carrier said.
