July 20 -- Jiangsu Sunshine (600220) filed its first-half net profit attributable to shareholders was down 7.05 percent year-on-year to 42.7 million yuan for EPS of 0.0239 yuan, reports Modern Express. Textiles contributed revenue of 1.3 billion yuan in the first half while polysilicon contributed 312 million yuan, up 246 percent year-on-year.

Polysilicon contributed 16 percent of its revenue with an operating margin of 33.58 percent, more than double the 10.03 percent of textiles.

The two largest polysilicon suppliers in the domestic market confirmed that polysilicon’s spot price has steadily risen in overseas markets to $54 per kilogram.
