China Longyuan Power Group (0916.HK) said power generation volume increased 18.66 percent year-on-year to 1.86 tWh in the first half, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.
Of the total, wind power generation volume was up 35.77 percent year-on-year, power generated by other forms of renewable energy increased 38.61 percent, while thermal power generation volume was up 8.93 percent.
Through end July, Longyuan Power generated 14.85 tWh of power, up 23.12 percent year-on-year. Of the total, wind power generation volume increased 43.56 percent.
The company had installed capacity of 8.47 GW through end 2010, with wind power capacity totaling 6.56 GW, accounting for 77.4 percent of the total.
According to survery by Denmark's BTM in March, Longyuan Power is the largest wind power producer in Asia.
