China Longyuan Power (00916.HK) said that, according to its preliminary statistics, the power generation of its group companies for November 2011 on consolidated basis amounted to 2.183 million MWh, representing an increase of 4.04% compared with the corresponding period of 2010. In particular, the increase in wind-power generation and other renewable energy power generation registered 7.06% and 46.26% respectively, and coal power generation registered a decrease of 0.24%.

As at 30 November 2011, the total power generation of the group for 2011 amounted to 22.931 million MWh, representing an increase of 18.82% compared with the corresponding period of 2010. In particular, the increase in wind power generation and other renewable energy power generation registered 35.87% and 75.99% respectively, and coal power generation registered an increase of 3.75%.
